THERE IS no SAINT WITHOUT A PAST
THERE IS No SINNER WITHOUT A FUTURE.
(Persian Saying)
St. Augustine's Words;
"This was the mother, now dead and hidden awhile from my sight, who
wept over me for many years so that I might live in your sight."
"Late have I learned to love you: Beauty at once so ancient and so new.
Late have I learned to love you;
You were within me and I was in the world outside of myself.
You were within me but I was not with you."
"You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless
until they rest in your."
"Give me chastity and continence, but not yet"
"Leave the past to the mercy of God, the present to His love, and the
future to His providence."
